Author Guidelines

Authors submitting a manuscript to “ORBITA” must fully comply with the following requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

1. General requirements

  • Language: Uzbek, Russian, or English.
  • Length: 8–15 pages (including references).
  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx); A4; Times New Roman; 14 pt; 1.5 line spacing; 2 cm margins on all sides.
  • Originality: at least 75% (checked for plagiarism).
  • The manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted to another journal.

2. Author information

At the beginning of the article, the following is provided for each author (in three languages):

  • Full name (surname, first name, patronymic).
  • Affiliation (full name of organization) and position.
  • Academic degree or title (if any: PhD, DSc, associate professor, professor).
  • E-mail address.
  • ORCID identifier (free at orcid.org).

3. Manuscript structure (IMRAD)

The manuscript follows the international scientific standard IMRAD and includes the following sections:

  1. Title — concise, precise, content-revealing (in three languages).
  2. Abstract (100–250 words) and keywords (5–8) — in three languages.
  3. Introduction. Relevance of the problem, aim and objectives of the study.
  4. Literature review. Analysis of existing research, identification of the research gap.
  5. Research methodology. Methods used, data sources, and analytical tools.
  6. Analysis and results. Findings presented with tables, charts, and statistical indicators.
  7. Conclusion and recommendations. Main conclusions, practical recommendations, and directions for future research.
  8. References (in APA format).

4. Citations and references (APA format)

  • Citations are formatted in APA (7th edition) style.
  • In-text: (Author, year) or (Author, year, p. XX). For example: (Karimov, 2024).
  • In the list: at least 10 sources in alphabetical order. A DOI is indicated for each where available.
  • Example: Karimov, A. (2024). Title of the article. Journal Name, 12(3), 45–58. https://doi.org/10.xxxx/xxxx

5. Tables, figures, and formulas

  • Tables and figures are numbered sequentially and provided with a caption.
  • Figures must be clear (at least 300 dpi), with a reference in the text.
  • Formulas are typed using Microsoft Equation or MathType.

6. Additional requirements

  • Conflict of interest: the author(s) declare the absence or presence of a conflict of interest.
  • Funding: if the research was funded by a grant or organization, this is indicated.
  • Artificial intelligence: the use of AI tools must be disclosed (see the AI Policy).
